The warehouse operator can be responsible for unloading, receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the Distribution Centre
Your responsibilities
Cores
Receiving, checking and storing of product
Verify and receive materials into inventory
Works from pick sheet or Radio Frequency (RF) Scanner to pull product or supplies
Use MH Equipment to pick, verify and pack orders according to standard practice
May be required to stack product and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds
Marks and inventories packages for storage or transit
May be required to cycle count inventory
Maintain warehouse clean and free of debris at all times
Inbound
Use material handling (MH) equipment to unload incoming materials from trailers
Verify and receive materials into inventory
Marks and inventories packages for storage or transit

Use MH Equipment to move and store materials within the warehouse
May also include palletizing
Maintain warehouse clean and free of debris at all time
Kitting
Works from pick sheet or Radio Frequency (RF) Scanner to pull product or supplies
Use MH Equipment to pick, verify and pack orders according to standard practice
Check orders against pull sheets
Marks and inventories packages for storage or transit
Use MH Equipment to move and store materials within the warehouse
Maintain warehouse clean and free of debris at all times
Outbound
Use MH Equipment to pick, verify and pack orders according to standard practice
Works from pick sheet or Radio Frequency (RF) Scanner to pull product or supplies
Marks and inventories packages for storage or transit
May be required to stack product and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds
May also include palletizing and shrink-wrap
Use MH Equipment to move and store materials within the warehouse
Use MH Equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distribution
Maintain warehouse clean and free of debris at all times
Additional responsibilities
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety
Adhere to Kuehne + Nagel’s Quality, Safety, Health and Environment program policies and procedures
Your skills & experiences
Logistics / Distribution
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment
Proven basic math skills at the high school level
Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Basic Computer skills
Languages: English – Ability to speak, read, write and interpret document
