Job Description

  • Support the General Manager with adherence to all compliance and legal obligations with a huge emphasis on safety, deputising in their absence
  • Assist with executing the daily plan for all deliveries and collections, with a keen eye on resource available at site and keep the customer updated
  • Ensure all process and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment
  • Provide leadership and guidance for the Transport team to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication

Skills Required

  • Management CPC is essential
  • Class 2 LGV licence holder
  • It’s important you have exposure of working in a fast-paced environment – no two days will be the same and we need you to think on your feet
  • Previous experience supervising and developing a team within a transport environment
  • Every day you’ll need to have an eye on continuous improvement of operational efficiencies and fleet performance – do you have a track record of improving things?
