Senior Specialist (Sales Support) – North Richland Hills – USA

Job Overview

What you’ll do on a typical day

  • Provide reports, statistical data and metrics to sales executives; alert sales regarding lost business, new opportunities, onboarding status, etc.
  • Perform pre-call preparation for sales executives
  • Maintain the customer account hierarchy structure
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, service and others as needed to support customer requirements
  • Support the bid management process by working with sales, the customer and pricing to provide bids for new business; manage the pricing agreement renewal process

What you need to succeed at XPO

At a minimum, you’ll need
  • 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as sales, sales support, customer service, etc.
It’d be great if you also have
  • Associate degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
  • Knowledge of general business practices related to sales, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement and logistics
  • Ability to prioritize work in line with department, territory and company goals
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple individuals (or teams) to reach a decision or goal
