Job Overview

Position summary

The Senior Billing Representative is responsible to take 80+ incoming calls from C. H. Robinson contracted carriers and factoring companies daily.  The Senior Billing Representative must be able to communicate well and provide exceptional customer service while on the call. They must be able to use their critical thinking skills in resolving any billing questions, open payables, as well as be knowledgeable in navigating through Navisphere with ease.  They need to educate our carriers and C.H. Robinson branch representatives on best practices to ensure timely payment releases.

Duties & responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following
  • Handle 80 +incoming phone calls daily
  • Responsible in answering the carrier’s questions and billing concerns
  • Releasing the payment to the carrier and releasing the invoice to the customer
  • Responsible for accurately logging calls and data entry
  • Must be able to maintain an acceptable service level and individual goals.
  • Must be able to maintain a minimum requirement of 10 calls per hour.
  • Be knowledgeable in other areas of DCAP and all other areas of the business
  • Must be flexible with other duties assigned.
  • Participate in training classes and department meetings
  • Stay up to date with current operating procedures.
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements.


  • Detailed Oriented
  • Effective in multi – tasking and prioritizing their skills and time
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must have strong customer service and communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Ability to use own judgement and make decisions.
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
  • Previous Call Centre Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
  • Previous experience with the Navisphere system
