Main Purpose Of Job

  • The Director of Sales role requires an individual to enhance the customer’s experience by providing best supply chain solutions, address customer’ objections/rejections, and project management skills.
  • This requires the ability to expand customer value by increasing customer loyalty and improving key  profitability metrics. Successful candidates are well versed in building relationships internally and externally, in influencing, and in managing change.
  • Much of this individual’s success will be based on their ability to build deep and lasting relationships with clients and internal employees, and customer retention with improved
    This role’s primary objective is to achieve revenue and margin growth from new account development, current client maintenance and management.
  • Also, offer and execute competitive solution for international freight forwarding and pricing.

Key Job Responsibility

  • Creative Business Development Strategy: Create International Business Development strategy to achieve the performance goals set by the company.
  • New Business Development: Develop new relationships in the market to generate sales opportunities.
  • Maintain Partner Relationship: Create personalized relationships at the onset of the relationship and ongoing partnership with  team’s partner contacts in both remote and face to face environments.
  • Provide Solution: Provide customized international freight solution or pricing to obtain new customers and maintain current  customers.
  • Team management: Cooperating company global business strategy, develop and maintain a professional sale team in north America.
  • Information Management: Work with HQ and NA teams to update product/solution/pricing information accurately and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business Review: Review Business results regularly to make sure to achieve business goal successfully.

Communication & Value Articulation

  • Work with operation team to monitor inbound and outbound order processing lead time.
  • Keep appropriate people across informed of account activities using various forms of communication.
  • Improve key areas of customer loyalty including business relationship development through joint planning and consistent communication of value.
  • Analyze and communicate savings, cost avoidance, and potential cost/ service tradeoff areas to the customer.
  • Collaborate with customers in order to support and enhance position as a key area of differentiation in the customer’s business model and articulate this position with the customer’s  management team.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage the company’s full menu of services and recognize the correct approach to maximize value to the customer and maintain partnership.
  • Identify and define continuous improvements that drive cost savings and productivity to the customer as well as improved efficiencies


  • Plan & source necessary resources to efficiently manage overall business goals.
  • Clearly define and communicate roles and responsibilities of the account management team to ensure satisfactory customer service & experience.
  • Organize activities across multiple functional teams on behalf of the customer.
  • Use internal network to exchange ideas and rally support for account management initiatives.


  • Minimum 10 years of international logistics experience.
  • Minimum 5 years team management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Management or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Language: Bi-Lingual preferred
  • Freight forwarding background preferred with electronics clients experience.
  • Excellent client development and management skill preferred.
  • Customer oriented and excellent business acumen.
  • Positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Great time management and personal organization.
  • Excellent communication skill.

Required education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Management or a related field. MBA preferred.

Functional knowledge/skill/ability

Freight forwarding background preferred with electronics clients experience.
