Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Freight Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $250,000 – $300,000 per year, along with a 10% commission on sales.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target prospective clients in the freight industry through research, networking, and referrals.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their freight needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Present and demonstrate our freight services to prospective clients, highlighting the value and benefits of partnering with our company.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the client and the company.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of freight services and address any customer concerns or issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the freight or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the freight industry, including various transportation modes and logistics solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and credibility with clients.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Salary & Benefits

  • Base salary: $250,000 – $300,000 per year.
  • Commission: 10% of sales, paid on a regular basis.
