As a Operations Analyst you will oversee daily operations, manage all communications with customers, global suppliers and 3PL providers via telephone and email.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
This is a heavily customer service focused role and will see you liaising with and supporting customers on a regular basis. You will provide ongoing assistance, ensuring alignment of performance to customer expectations and of own internal standards. You will be the first port of call in the eventuality the customers goods are held up, therefore you will be required to handle difficult situations whilst solving the problem and maintaining effective communication. This role will support in the optimization of productivity levels, continuous improvement and cost control initiatives.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Ideally you will come from an administrative background with a strong focus on customer service. You will have the ability to think of your feet and effectively find solutions to critical issues in a timely manner. As you will be communicating with customs on a regular basis, you must be an effective communicator at all levels, both verbally and written. It would be desirable that you come from a Freight Management or logistics background however this isn’t essential.
It’s important to note that initially this will be a remote working role with a view to going back into our Head Office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch when we are able.
