Regional Airfreight Tender Specialist – Miami – USA

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Gatekeeper (Manager) from pre-bid to post bid on nominated AFR opportunities.
• Manage incoming RFQ’s and work together with all stakeholders in preparing, finalizing and delivering a timely and winning tender response to Bid Management Team
• Engage with country teams and regional pricing teams to ensure all bid responses are checked & validated for accuracy, adherence to customer’s requirements
• Translation of internal and external pricing templates CPT-IPT-CPT
• Evaluate country pricing to bid and benchmark against comparative bid data, so as to optimize customer pricing effectiveness
• Develop and maintain strong contacts with internal stakeholders such as Commercial Owner, Industry Sector Sales, Account and Product Management
• Keep up to date with products and all relevant market information and developments
• Follow up on submitted bids with Bid Managers to understand and place on record the bid outcome and lesson learned
• Support and development of technical narratives related to Airfreight Solutions

Skills / Requirements

• Knowledge of Airfreight forwarding business and understanding of supply chain logistics
• Very Strong people and communication skills
• Effective time management with problem solving and decision-making skills
• Must have advanced Microsoft office skillset (especially EXCEL)
• Minimum 3 years air AFR operations and pricing experience
• Advanced Project Management and Excel Skills preferred
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
• Degree in Business Administration or related subject
