Our client is a renowned Freight Forwarder who require an International Outside Sales Executive to join the team.

The client operates in more than 30 countries across 5 continents and employs over 2,000 people.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare/Distribute a schedule of planned sales calls on a weekly basis
  • Identify potential business opportunities from existing customers through regular visits with their client base
  • Secure new business from new/existing customers
  • Input sales call notes/action items in CRM system within 2 days of sales call
  • Follow up on sales call action items in conjunction with inside sales/local staff
  • Analyze Customer Reports/Statistics
  • Handle daily E-mail correspondence/Phone calls from Customers and internal staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, selling international transportation is required. Experience from an NVOCC background is preferred, but a candidate with VOCC or freight forwarder experience is fine.
  • Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of inside and outside sales techniques and procedures, and can demonstrate the ability for business development, client maintenance and procurement of new accounts.
