We have a great opportunity for a Placement student looking to gain industry experience within Operations, this is a role that will not only provide sound understanding of the Operational processes but allow the individual to get stuck into delivering projects and make a tangible difference.



This role will provide varied and interesting experience covering all aspects of a warehouse and transport operation for one of the UKs major canned and dried food manufacturers.


The successful candidate will be involved and exposed to:

  • Projects – New Warehouse Management System/Warehouse Layout
  • Continuous Improvement Process
  • Management Information and Reports/KPIs
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Transport Operations
  • Customer Interaction and Meetings



The successful candidate would need:



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills – intermediate level
  • Experience of analysing data and good attention to detail
  • Currently studying a Degree (prefereably linked to Supply Chain and Logistics but not essential)
