Description

We are seeking an experienced Ocean Export Documentation Agent to join our team in Long Island, New York. As an Ocean Export Documentation Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely documentation for all ocean export shipments. You will work closely with the operations team, customers, and vendors to ensure a smooth export process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process all necessary documentation for ocean export shipments, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including customs and trade compliance requirements
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate documentation and shipment processing
• Maintain accurate records and files of all documentation and shipments
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to documentation or shipment processing

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ocean export documentation
• Knowledge of ocean export regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Salary

$55,000 – $65,000 (DOE)
