About the Role



The position of Ocean Import Co-ordinator sits within our Dordon branch and will ensure the branch executes all import shipments effectively and efficiently to meet and exceed customer and CEVA’s expectations.



Our ideal candidate will be someone who is determined, focused and goes that extra mile. Experience of liaising with multiple stakeholders and customers is essential to ensuring we maintain our high standard of service.



Day to day you will obtain quotes liaising with shipping lines and overseas agents finding the best route for our customers. Knowledge of shipping terms and the documentation needed is key to being successful in this role, although this role isn’t responsible for the Customs clearances it is desirable to understand this process. You will see the process through to the end ensuring the customer is kept up to date on any delays and potential problems.



LCL knowledge is desirable



In order to be successful you will need to have previous experience in a similar role, be a strong communicator with high levels of attention to detail. Due to the fast paced environment prioritisation ability is essential, you will have a strong supportive team around you but will also need to be confident working alone.
