Drives CLL system training globally by providing training and demonstrations to control tower superusers, who will in turn deliver training to users (control towers, clients, carriers, shippers, consignees, etc). This “train-the-trainer” process requires a good understanding of the operational processes and how the system supports various operational scenarios. This role will also use the understanding that they gain from their relationship with superusers to contribute to continuous improvement and the wider product roadmap.
What are you going to do?
Responsible for developing and conducting trainings of all CLL Control Tower super users globally, including creation and maintenance of training materials; liaise closely with Control Tower Management in the CLL regions to identify needs for trainings and people development
Communicate system releases, updates and additional system functionalities to super user community and conduct trainings where necessary
Encourage best practice and knowledge sharing between super users in different regional control towers with the aim to achieve a consistent level of expertise across all CLL regions,
Act as the main go-to person for Control Tower lead super users in case of questions or escalations with regards to functional system related issues
Promote digitalization and introduction of emerging tools and technology to CLL solutions portfolio
Responsible to drive the development of system road map and ensures that it is aligned and supports CLL customer initiatives
Leads the development of standards around EDI and API connectivity and integration between CLL customer facing systems, CEVA and other freight operational systems, and customers
Collaborate with CLL teams, Digital and IT to prioritize and deliver SCM road map, in line with CLL product and the standard solution sets to meet customer requirements and development
Responsible for documentation of customer and operations system landscape for SCM development
Act as a point of contact in commercial support in explaining the system capabilities to existing and potential customers.
Documenting new system requirements based on meetings or pre-sales engagement of customers and provide oversight to customer and business requirement documents for development
What are we looking for?
Equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in business management, IT or Supply Chain Management.
Five to 10 years of supply chain experience and a thorough understanding of global transport logistics, specifically air/ocean/ground global transportation/freight forwarding
Experience with IT user support and related tools such as ticketing, workflow management tools etc.
Broad experience in preparing and providing trainings, user documentation, guidelines and presentations, ability to give instructions and convey content in a structured and coherent manner
In depth knowledge of EDI and B2B technology
Proven track record in systems projects
Strong affinity with IT systems and the related impact/benefits to solution design
In-depth understanding of complex supply chain solutions and the deployment of value creating/generating solutions
Exceptional aptitude – ability to quickly understand customer’s internal and external supply chain processes, policies & systems with ability to apply and further expand CEVA operating capabilities
Broad view of the business with in depth understanding of business strategy, operating processes and capabilities, business process standardization, enabling technologies, and governance
Strong situational analysis and problem solving abilities
