Role will involve both desk support duties and hands on support to IT users for DSV UK & IE across DSV Road, DSV Solutions & DSV Air&Sea Divisions.
Activities to include:
Handling support desk incidents
Involvement IT implementation projects
Onboarding new users
Dealing with IT global support team and Internet service providers.
Support IT requirements for IT moves, new setups etc.
Ordering of goods, keeping records and stock levels maintained
Example of Hardware / Systems to be involved with
VPN / remote access
Equipment power supply systems eg Uninterruptable power supply
Meeting room AV systems
The ability to work independently without direct supervision – planning, organizing, prioritizing own daily work routine
Aptitude in IT & computing including basic understanding of routers, switches & wireless.
The ability to approach problems in a logical and systematic way
Communication & interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft office products
