Description

We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Air and Ocean Executive to join our team in Long Island, New York. As an Inside Sales Air and Ocean Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing relationships with customers in the air and ocean freight industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and solutions to customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of services
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight sales, with a focus on air and ocean freight
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships
  • Strong understanding of the air and ocean freight industry, including pricing, regulations, and market trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred

Salary

$85,000 to $95,000 + commission
