Import Export Specialist

Job Description

• The Import/Export Specialist is not just a clerk, as a specialist you will own the consignment from start to finish responsible for all phases of the operational workflow and functionality from domestic pickup or delivery to international pickup or delivery.
• This will include import and export processing, data entry, dispatching, routing, choice of airline booking for best rate practice along with tracking and costing for profitability.
• Will be required to maintain continual education for compliance with all U.S. Federal agencies in export regulations.
• Will be responsible for meeting daily deadlines timely with accurate communication and documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment with positive attitude.

Job requirements

• Two to three years export experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be self-motivated, able to work as a team and independently
• Must be detail oriented, have the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
