Import Customs Clerk (Senior Role) – Essex (Basildon/Dover) – UK

Requirements

• Essential – Min 5 years experience in Customs (Imports)
• Essential  – Experience of CDS
• Experience of Road, Sea & Air Freight Clearances  (Road & Sea Essential, Air Freight preferable)
• Fully Conversant with various customs entries
• Experience of clearances for a broad range of clients and products
• Knowledge of ETSF, CNS, CCS-UK would be an advantage
• Must be familiar working with Freight Forwarders, shipping lines & customs
• Must be solution focused and able to use own initiative
• Willingness to work towards an Assistant Manager role

Salary

Circa £35,000 (DOE)

Hours

09.00am – 5.30pm  MON – FRI  (flexibility required on hours due to nature of the business)
