Import Coordinator – Lombard – USA

Job Overview


  • Monitor trade schedules for upcoming Import vessels to the US
  • Process Import Vessels documentation
  • Perform data quality/accuracy check for manifests in Presto & Vilden
  • Accurately process and/or input or update B/L information
  • Engage in e-mail communications with external & internal parties (customers, terminals, customs, agents, etc.)
  • Review release check-points on BL’s to issue release to terminals
  • Review/update BL’s in Presto & Vilden from correction notices
  • Create/Maintain excel status spreadsheets for VIP Accounts
  • Monitor FROB (foreign retain onboard) Cargo for customs statuses
  • Demonstrate effective “Integrity Value”by consistently acting courteously with customers, co-workers, and vendors
  • Demonstrate “Intensity Value” by working diligently and effectively with fellow team members


  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Preferred Education

High School degree or equivalent

Work Experience

Minimum 3-5 years business experience; 2 years industry related experience preferred.
