New Business Development.
Participate and lead sales and client planning meetings.
Elevate discussions to establish a strategic partnership with clients and overseas agents.
Handling all contractual services to include administrative functions, operations, information systems, parts
purchasing, and inventory control.
Ensuring compliance of all company procedures and policies
Ensuring services are provided within budget and action plans developed and implemented to improve
Maintaining company and contractual assets (vehicles, facilities, inventories, tools, and equipment).
Ensuring compliance of local, state, and federal laws and regulation (California and New York)
Analyzing, preparing, and developing budgets and forecasts.
Assessing resource needs, problems, trends and plans accordingly.
Developing action plans to ensure customer retention.
Assuring a safe working environment.
Skills and Qualifications
Ability to communicate with co-workers in problem resolution
Sense of urgency
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
Six to seven years’ experience in logistics or freight forwarding
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferred CHINESE CANTONESE/MANDARIN
Experience managing large teams of employees
General understanding of Supply Chain Management and the logistics industry is required.
Understanding the full range of Freight Forwarding services, including movement scheduling, monitor and control services, cost optimization, and various industry-specific requirements is required.
Intermediate MS Excel, Power Point, Word and database management are required.
