The Freight Forwarding Sales Manager is responsible for all conversion and retention sales activity in the assigned market. Your primary role is to achieve profit targets and overall business plan by leveraging your existing/former customer base within the local market with full support and resources of our dynamic business.


• Ensure that the agreed product targets for the vertical are met or exceeded

• Prospect customers in the product vertical to ensure the most profitable pricing and competitive services are positioned

• Conduct in-person and virtual customer visits across nation and potentially overseas to support the growth of the product vertical

• Lead the successful implementation of any assigned customers as required

• Support national and local customers by providing timely communication, training, and general support for both pre-sales and post-sales activities

• Function as a subject matter expert for all external and internal stakeholders related to the existing product portfolio, future product road maps and market trends

• Create and demonstrate product presentations to highlight our capabilities and quantified value to the customer to increase probability of sales conversion

• Identify and propose product strategies, pricing models, marketing campaigns and execution plans

• Act as a customer liaison to the Company by supporting all internal stakeholders with suggestions for service enhancement, risk mitigation and profit improvement


• 5+ years Freight Forwarding work experience

• 3+ years of air logistics outside sales experience, within the aviation and healthcare industry verticals

• Experience within the local Fort Lauderdale/Miami market preferred

• Advanced knowledge of all general services within the freight forwarding service portfolio

• Strong executive presence and current network within the C-Suite

• Master level presentation, communication, negotiation and influencing skills

• High level analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Magaya Software System preferred

• College degree preferred; MBA a plus

• Travel as required
