A top 25 freight forwarder based in the Dallas area are looking to recruit an experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Executive. My client is looking for a ‘hard hitter’ with a proven track record of bringing in good revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit
  • To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new clients
  • To build relationships with overseas agents, supporting sales visits to and from them, offering professional advice and providing them with sales leads in order to generate business
  • To demonstrate effective time management, through efficient use of time and resources and well organised route planning
  • To prepare and present information for the management team as required, including the submission of weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Offer support to other departments when required
  • Reports to office daily, unless out visiting customers or traveling
  • 4-10 years’ experience
  • Around 70-80k salary
  • Unlimited commission, Air, Ocean (Export/Import), domestic, warehousing – (10% of the monthly GP, for 1 year)
  • Car allowance
  • Medical, dental, vision
  • 401k – $0.50/$1.00 match up to 15%
