Financial Planning and Analysis (Senior Manager) – Eden Prairie – USA

Job Overview


  • Integrate prioritization processes with the budgeting, forecasting and monthly review processes to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Support and collaborate with executive level internal stakeholders to influence data-driven recommendations for financial planning and strategic decisions
  • Leverage understanding of business impact to make recommendations on and influence decision making regarding financial outcomes of the business
  • Lead cash flow analysis and financial modelling for key projects to understand return-on-investment (ROI) and financial projections for key projects
  • Create concise, compelling narratives to communicate analytical insight to business leaders
  • Support and influence business partners through the budgeting and forecast processes
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reports and ad hoc stakeholders requests
  • Act as key partner to business leaders in the analysis of results
  • Proactively identify and highlight key, actionable areas for improvement
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to key financial planning and analysis activities, including end user tools and resources
  • Stays current on industry/market best practices, and shares knowledge with team. Recognized as an FP&A subject matter expert.
  • Provide indirect leadership and mentorship to FP&A team
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

​Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related major
  • Minimum 9 years of professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or other Finance-related roles
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (domestically and internationally)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from accredited college or university in Finance, Business Administration, or related major
  • Experience communicating to executive level leadership
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Thrives working autonomously in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to streamline and simplify processes
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and consult with multiple stakeholders at a variety of levels
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate in a matrixed organization with multiple competing priorities
  • Data analytics, financial analysis, and accounting skills
  • Experience leading and mentoring peers
