Business Implementation Manager – Austin – USA

Your role

What are you going to do?

• Effectively identify business rules and requirements
• Develop Standard Operating Procedure
• Coordinate with origin to execute operational implementation
• Train SCS Origin/Destination on new business requirements
• Provide assistance during vendor seminar preparation
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
• Achieve post implementation steady-state and transition to Origin Operations/Destination Account Management
• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
• Actively communicate with Customers throughout the project implementation process
• Report to Implementation Management for all team administrative and project / support items; escalates issues, concerns, and awareness items for resolution of project and support matters.
• Coordinate all activities with Project Manager to escalate issues, concerns, and awareness items to pertaining to specific project
• Interacts with Operations as part of the project delivery and support process

What are we looking for?

• Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Operations or Supply Chain Management or equivalent education and experience. Master’s Degree in related field preferred. Five years related experience required.
• Credentials Professional certification may be required in some areas.
• Skills Ability to develop analytics, reports and communications related to transportation and logistics. Awareness of common systems and databases used for transportation and logistics management.
• Characteristics Capable of identifying areas to drive efficiency and operational effectiveness and ability to identify and communicate potential operational or analytical concerns.
