About the Role

 

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Freight Forwarding Sales team in Ireland, where you will provide tailor made solutions for those customers looking to transport freight via Air, Ocean and Ground. Our high profile Business Development team are integral to generating business and delivering growth across multiple sectors, and this role will have a particular focus on two of CEVA’s key target market segments, Large Local Accounts (LLA’s) and Small & Medium Enterprises (SME’s).

 

As a Business Development Manager you will push boundaries and go the extra mile to knock down doors and solicit new business to drive our organisation forward. With a consultative, solutions based selling style, you will build effective relationships with prospect customers to fully understand their requirements and needs, working in close collaboration with the Freight Management operations team to embed and implement client solutions. Whilst new business will be key focus, you will also be pivotal to driving growth and sustainability across an existing client portfolio. That’s why we need a determined, self-sufficient and courageous, energetic individual with expert networking ability, exceptional communication skills and a dynamic hunter mentality.

 

As well as the above, you will have a proven track record of delivering growth over a sustained period of time with the ability to develop pipelines through strategic and targeted planning. With a consultative selling style, you will have prior experience of developing compelling value propositions and be able to influence and negotiate at senior level. For this role, we also need someone with an air or ocean freight forwarding background, With a lucrative commission and bonus scheme in place, it goes without saying that you will be well rewarded for your efforts.
