Salary: $130k to $150k basic plus 20% Commission

As the Branch Manager of Operations, you will lead the sales and operations activities of the branch, drive revenue and ensure profitability goals are met. We want to leverage your skills and years of experience to create positive results.

Branch is currently performing around $38M revenue, ($2.6M EBITDA)Target revenue: $50M by 2020
Manage 300 active accounts
Site: 36 people on site
8 sales people
28 ops people18,000 sq. ft. warehouse

Business: Domestic and International, Ocean Import, Air Import

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Execute a cohesive strategy for disciplined growth across all expedite operations Oversee and optimize operational processes, including sales incentive programs, customer and carrier contractual agreements, key employee hires, technology applications, etc. Develop and execute high-growth financial plans; report on performance against plan Achieve significant P&L success as evidenced by measurable improvements in revenue, margin, cost efficiency, profitability, employee productivity, safety and compliance Create compelling sales and marketing initiatives that communicate  value proposition for the expedite customer

Experience you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent related experience7 years of logistics experience
Experience in a Managerial role
Experience performing complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems Additional details below would be advantageous
Bachelor’s degree in Management or Logistics
Availability to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends
Availability to travel up to 25% of the time
Effective organizational, leadership and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills, including a demonstrated attention to detail/accuracy and experience identifying opportunities to optimize resources
Capacity to take calculated risks and make strategic, results-oriented decisions while accepting responsibility for the results whether positive or negative
Excellent group presentation and negotiation skills, including effectively dealing with individuals and groups within and outside the organization   The client offers competitive compensation and a generous benefits package to be discussed on application
