Job Title:  Airfreight Customer Service Supervisor
Job Location: Queens, NY
We have an exciting opportunity for an Airfreight Customer Service Supervisor to help us manage the Customer Service and Air Import team.  This position will be based at the JFK Airport, NY
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervises the performance of Customer Service Agents
  • Liaises with other functions to ensure smooth customer-related process flow
  • Drives achievement of CS KPIs down to agent level
  • Acts as coach for CS Agents
  • Identifies training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled CS team
  • Acts as escalation point for customers and other parties
Skills / Requirements:
  • 5-+ years’ experience in servicing key customers in freight forwarding industry required
  • 1+ years’ of leadership experience with direct reports required
  • Airfreight and Import experience a plus
  • CargoWise software experience a plus
  • DG/Hazmat experience a plus
  • Excellent understanding of customer needs
  • Analytical, organizational leadership and project management skills
  • Self-directed, high energy and proactive working style
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
