A logistics company located at JFK airport is looking to hire an air freight sales agent to work as a team member for our sales department.

About the Role

  • Become a valuable member of our sales department to provide the best services to our international clients to build customer loyalty.

Among the responsibilities of the role are

  • Account management for our key clients
  • Setting sales goals to bring new business to the company
  • Daily communication with airline carriers to set up contract rates as well as spot rates for project shipments
  • Daily communication with inland carriers
  • Daily communication with the operations department to reach the highest level of customer satisfaction

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in air freight export sales
  • Proven track record in sales
  • CargoWise or Magaya experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to pay great attention to details
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Base salary

Competitive weekly salary + commission.

Salary is negotiable based on experience.
